Please read below for our new procedures for Communicable Disease Prevention.
To ensure the safety of our patients, practitioners, and staff, at Fiskco Health + Performance we have installed safety shields at reception, have readily available sanitizers are in every room, and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) may be worn by staff. Thorough disinfecting will continue to occur before and after each visit.
We also have some protocols for patients in order to mitigate risk even further. We ask that you help us keep everyone safe by adhering to the following:
- Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your appointment, and if there are less than 4 people in the waiting area, feel free to come right in. If there are more than 4 people, please call reception on 604-946-3713 and we’ll let you know when to come in. This will ensure fewer people in our common areas. Appointments times may vary from the norm so please double check your times.
- A a mask or face covering is recommended but not mandatory. If you do choose to wear a mask, we ask that you please bring your own mask as it creates a financial burden to provide masks to every patient. This can include scarves, bandanas, medical or non-medical grade masks. We appreciate your cooperation. If you would prefer your practitioner to wear a mask during your treatment, please let us know and we’ll be happy to comply!
- If you have tested positive to Covid or have been advised by your health authority to self-isolate, please do not come to your appointment. If you have a mild illness, check with reception as you may still be able to attend your appointment, provided you are wearing a mask.
